This practical notice explains how LaunchScorch handles a public-page roast. It is product information, not legal advice.

ROAST REQUEST

We use the public URL and public page text only to fetch the page and generate the requested roast. We remove query strings before storing the page address.

TEMPORARY RESULT

A shareable roast stores the cleaned public URL, domain, roast text, score, and observations for up to 30 days. It is then automatically deleted, including the stored URL and report. A failed request is kept for no more than 24 hours for basic troubleshooting.

PAGE HTML

We do not save scraped page HTML. It is held in memory only long enough to extract public text and generate the roast.

PRIVATE MATERIAL

Do not submit logins, private dashboards, customer information, confidential information, or non-public material. LaunchScorch is built for public pages only.

WHAT WE DON'T DO.

LaunchScorch does not use browser automation, fill in forms, request credentials, or attempt to access non-public areas. We do not sell submitted page data. We may use service providers needed to host the product and generate the AI-assisted roast, subject to their applicable terms.

Deletion or privacy question

Email team@launchscorch.madethis.app with the public URL or roast link. We will use that only to locate and delete the temporary record where we can reasonably identify it.
